For Big Brother Naija (BBN) 2017 winner, Efe, living up to expectations from those who ensured he won the prize winner of N25 million appeared to be a source of concern for the rapper.
In fact, some of his fans, who feel he is not doing enough with his music career, despite the ovation that greeted his emergence as the 2017 BBN winner, are saying they regretted voting for the Warri-born entertainer.
Some of them, who expressed their displeasure with Efe’s disposition to music and the slow pace with which his career is progressing, took to twitter to call out the singer and asked him to justify the confidence placed in him.
While some argued that Efe should be allowed to plan his life and music the best way he could, others believed that he needed to get serious with his music career and show Nigerians he had what it takes to compete at the big stage.
Reacting to the criticisms trailing his career, Efe in what appeared like a twitter rant said: “For all those saying the regret voting for me, I entertained you and your money expired the day the show ended.”
Findings by R revealed that Efe, since leaving the house, had released two songs. His latest song, Warri featured Olamide, and the video has been trending on Youtube and other major platforms.
He will also be dropping an EP today (Sunday).
Reacting to Efe’s outburst, popular comedian, Seyilaw appealed to those criticising the rapper to forgive him and let him grow.
The comedian said there was a place for the fans and as an artiste, one must be cautious how to walk there.
“Efe has spoken out of anger and made a mistake which might be justified but could be avoided. We all make mistakes and he who is above them can crucify me. Let’s forgive him and let him grow, he might just learn to do it right, but let him have a say in his own life,” he said.
